Questions
- How many of the sentences could you remember? I could remember 5 full sentences and the rest were partially remembered
- Which group were you in? I was in group 2, the group where we were given context in which the sentence were about. In our example, sentences were about flying a kite.
- What do you notice? when given context, it’s easier to form the sentences even if you may have heard partially.
- What do you wonder? I wonder how accurate this test is as our class results weren’t very informative. The hypothesis would be that group 2 would do better. If this test was computed again between groups using a different example and repeated again so group one has a chance to know the context. This would allow us to account for variability between the students different learning capabilities in the groups. This may have a different outcome also it seemed some students were confused on the task so second time would’ve provided clarification.
